About Me

There are many things I would like you to know about me. First, I have a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Leadership from Kennesaw State University and spring of 2012, I finished a Math Endorsement. I have been teaching for 16 years, 14 of them have been with Cobb County. I have taught kindergarten, first, and fourth grade and I have also taught third, fourth, and fifth grade math. For six was I was an Instructional Lead Teacher/Academic Coach. This is my second year at Addison Elementary teaching 4th grade.

I am married and have two wonderful children, Kyle and Ryan. Kyle graduated in 2011 from Shorter University with a degree in Business and a minor in Economics and International Business. My son Ryan also attended Shorter University until summer when he was drafted in the 7th round to the Miami Marlin,  Another member of my family is Ginger, my 8 pound multipoo.

This year will be a very interesting and challenging school year for all
students. Our classroom will be one where the students excel academically as the year progresses.

I look forward to a wonderful year of learning for all.
